Getting started
- Click Install above, open the downloaded setup and follow the steps (no administrator rights needed). LIBS Software appears in your Start menu; the portable zip is there if you prefer no installation.
- Start LIBS Software. The first time, it shows a computer ID. E-mail that ID to info@ontekollc.com and you will receive your license key; paste it into the same window once.
- To update later, use Check for updates on the program's start screen.
Windows may show a "protected your PC" notice the first time — choose More info → Run anyway.
Automatic updates (optional)
To let LIBS Software check for new versions by itself, save these two small files into the folder
C:\Users\<your name>\.libs_settings (create the folder if it does not exist):
Afterwards the "Check for updates" button on the program's start screen installs new versions for you.
